The Space series of subwoofers is quite simply perfection in low frequency sound reproduction; a reference quality subwoofer capable of high SPL levels.

VIBE R&D have engineered the Space 12 and Space 15 without compromise, investing in the latest technology and using only the best in cutting edge components VIBE have set a new benchmark for bass performance.

Defined by immense motor strength, superior power handling, low distortion and near perfect linear movement, Space subwoofers are literally the future of car audio.

a) The front gasket is made from high quality machined aluminum for a high-end aesthetic.

b) Whilst traditional rubber surrounds will have different suspension characteristics at the extreme ends of excursion; The Space subwoofer features a specially developed foam rubber multi-roll surround allowing much better linearity throughout the subwoofers excursion range.

c) The FEA (Finite Element Analysis) designed aluminum cone delivers unmatched weight and dynamics, and is seamlessly joined to the flanged alloy voice coil for perfect unity, resulting in more efficient cooling.

d) The specially designed cone support adds rigidity without excessive weight to the subwoofer.

e) The single spider provides control and stability for the woofer cone for 100% linear movement.

f) The alloy torsion basket is machined from cast aluminum for high rigidity and support of the motor and moving parts of the subwoofer. The vented arms of the torsion basket cradle the coil and allow it to breathe cool air when in motion which offers significant performance gains.

g) Double stacked Y30 ferrite magnets are used for immense power handling.

h) The subwoofer motor was designed using FEMM (Finite Element Method Magnetics) giving linear flux saturation and low distortion, to ensure great sound quality. Using FEMM we can use the maximum magnetic force of the Space’s double stacked magnets to drive the cone.

The newly retuned Space Enclosure features increased low bass performance with variable port tuning.

VIBE Audio’s patented PressureWedgeTM 2 design creates internal pressure to assist cone control and enhanced enclosure porting for tighter, more controlled bass. Designed to mount either away from or facing the passenger compartment with a smaller footprint than standard enclosures.

VIBE’s revolutionary Anti Resonance Bass Support System (A.R.B.S.S.) eliminates unwanted vibrations for more defined bass, whilst the built in Box Grip carry handle makes it easy to remove the enclosure for when you need extra space in your luggage compartment.

Flared VIBE TurboPorts produced clean bass without unwanted port noise and allow variable tuning using a VIBE PortPlug, giving different sound characteristics and easy conversion from a bass reflex to acoustic suspension enclosure.
