| VIBE BlackAir 6 6.5" 345w Components When we first unpacked these our jaws simply dropped - in ten years we haven't seen a set of speakers this well built with such high quality under a hundred pounds!
Well known as the largest British contributor to car audio Vibe have simply excelled themselves with this product.
Lets start with the Mid Drivers:
The 6.5" GRP cones are everything we look for in high end speakers, lightweight enough to be responsive when running off a headunit - but stiff enough to blow your mind when given real power from an amp. The baskets are thick and strong, the magnet and indeed the whole structure is very solid - the dustcap design is well thought out and the overall look of the speaker is fantastic.
The Tweeters:
The cast alloy chassis tweeter is simply unbelievable - often neglected in component kits - not in this one! The large silk dome provides excellent high end clarity but with none of the sibilance (The SSSS noise) you get with cheaper component sets. The build quality is just as solid as the main speakers.
Crossovers & Cabling:
£20 of speaker cable for free? We were wide eyed! The Components include some very heavy gauge high copper proffessional flat speaker wire to get the best from your speakers and not just a small length either! The crossovers like the rest of the package are well made and tailored perfectly by Vibes UK Engineers to getting the best sound from the system.
